I think the play is really good so far, but I just wish that Puck would have gotten it right and put the juice on Demetrius' eyes instead of Lysander's because Lysander and Hermia were going really smoothly and now Puck has just messed it all up. I also wish he would have gotten it right because Demetrius really drives me bananas because he was so madly in love with Helena, but then he just decided to dump her for her best friend. He's such a jerk!!

I totally agree that Demetrius is a total jerk, and I also feel bad for Hermia now that Lysander likes Helena. What I don't understand is that Helena likes Demetrius even though he treats her like a rotten old banana peel in a rusting dumpster ( I felt the need for a detailed comparison). It's terrible that she let one jerk of a guy ruin her whole life and self esteem. But lets face it, if Puck hadn't mixed up Lysander and Demetrius the book wouldn't have a conflict.
